#MeToo . What next?

اسلام عليكم و رحمه الله و بركاته.
It is indeed​ horrifying to come across so many cases of sexual assault in the most sacred of places on the planet.
Take this from someone who grew up in Saudi Arabia.I used to visit Makkah a lot.
Alhamdulilah for the blessing
And I too had a few encounters of the kind you all have mentioned.
I need you all to understand something.
Today evil is widespread, and no place is safe for women.
I know it's awful to read that , but it's the truth.
There are people who do not fear Allaah and Shaytan gets to them easily.They blur the boundary lines set by our Creator despite being in the most harmonious and holy places in the world.

Now , they will face Allaah on the Day of Reckoning and He shall handle their affair in the best of manner.
However we shouldn't let the act of few people bring a scar on our honour as Muslim women.
Here are a few things that I think one should do when they encounter any such activity in the future.
A) Report it to your parent/guardian/Mahram as soon as possible.
B) If you are alone and the person is extremely close, invading your personal space then try to move away as far as possible until you are out of reach.
C)Search for any guards/workers/religious scholars and tell them about it.
Believe me their job is to ensure no such activities take place in the sanctuary so they will look into the matter. It's a punishable offence in our Shari'a
D)Look for a group of women and try to join them by initiating a small conversation.
E) Lastly , if you find no such help then just move as far as possible and seek Allaah's help.
I know it's hard to digest such horrifying facts coming from people belonging to a religion where men are supposed to look away or lower their gaze when a non Mahram woman passes by.
But unfortunately mankind is headed towards its own destruction.
I would like to start a campaign too. #WhatNext?
Please voice your suggestions as to what a woman should do when facing such situations.
I think wisdom lies in finding the solution and not complaining about it all day long , thats called whining and not solving.
To all those men who who have ever tried to assault a woman anywhere in the world , remember that Allaah is watching you and the scrolls are being filled with your deeds.
Also let me remind you that your sister/daughter/mother or wife could be the next victim too.
It is never too late to repent though.
Allaah is Oft-Forgiving and Ever loving.

Oh Women , let us not let this activity stop people from coming to our sacred Mosques.
Allaah is here to protect us ladies.
Just be safe and take your precautionary measures.
And Allaah knows the best.
May Allaah help the Ummah in being more pious and steadfast on the religion.May Allaah gather us all in Jannah and reward us for our good intentions and struggle
